Birds and Birding in India

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Travel Update

Bubo Birding has suspended all tours in India until at least 24 October 2020.

Clearly this is obvious, but with the global crisis of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic affecting all of us, we must all do our bit to minimise the spread of this disease. At its simplest that means to stay at home. We won’t be running any tours for the time being, and urge everyone to follow official advice.

This is the worst crisis to ever affect the travel industry, and our thoughts go out to everyone connected with it. In India, we deal predominantly with small, family-run, businesses, and self-employed individuals, who now have no income at all for the foreseeable future, and little or no welfare support. We sincerely hope that the main season starting in October 2020 will be able to operate as normal, and that we can continue working with them.

On this basis, we have a full schedule of tours from 24 October 2020, although will be constantly monitoring official advice before we can confirm that these will go ahead. Please do contact us to register your interest in advance for when things do return to normal.

Be kind to everyone…
